Job description

Inventive Seeds Private Limited (ISP Seeds) is an Indian Seed Company with the aim to become a Global seed player. Our Goal is to serve the Indian farmers with high yielding hybrids in various crops to increase the productivity combine with improved technology.


ISP Seeds is looking for individual “Territory Sales Manager” in KOTA


The key responsibilities areas are:

  • Create distribute channel and verification of Distributors

  • Create marketing hierarchy and lead sales team members to achieve sales targets

  • Ensure compliance with Government departments of all states

  • Represent the company at public inquiries, public meetings, external organisations, and co-ordinate with agriculture officers.

  • Key responsible for P&L, revenue budget forecasting, sales plan, sales forecasts and KPI reporting

  • To ensure full compliance with established legal procedures and legislation

  • Implementation of IT ERP

  • Identify and carry out of investigations and preparing appropriate solutions for professional problems, within the relevant discipline, including consultation, liaison and partnership working

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies

  • Establish productive and professional relationships with key personnel

  • Negotiate and close agreements with large customers

  • Monitor and analyse performance metrics and suggest improvements

  • Perform research and identify new potential customers and new market opportunities

  • Provide timely and effective solutions aligned with clients’ needs

  • Liaise with Marketing and Product Development departments to ensure brand consistency

  • Stay up-to-date with new product launches and ensure sales team members are on board

Qualification:

·         M.Sc./Post Graduation in Sales, Business Administration Agriculture or relevant field

·         Minimum 5-10 years’ experience in sales & marketing team

·         Experience managing a high-performance sales team

·         Work experience in sales and marketing in Seeds or Agriculture would be preferable.

Required Skills:

  • Knowledge of CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite

  • An ability to understand and analyse sales performance metrics

  • Solid customer service attitude with excellent negotiation skills

  • Strong communication and team management skills

  • Analytical skills with a problem-solving attitude

  • Excellent communication and techno commercial skills.

  • Having good leadership skills to drive the team.

  • Have willing to travel and develop new segments and markets.

  • Self-driven and positive attitude ready to accept challenging goals.

  • Build and drive sales team to deliver annual sales targets for B2B and B2C segment

  • Ensure an increased market share and profitability by facilitating market development, brand management and business development.
